KARL KANI HOSTING 2023
To wrap up 2023 we had the chance to host one of the originators of streetwear fashion, Karl Kani, for 3 days in Dubai. His impact on fashion culture arose from the hip-hop urban scene cultures, recognized worldwide for being worn by some of the industry's biggest names. The hosting also included a luxurious airport pick-up, dinner at TROVE in the Dubai Mall, Sole DXB visit & panel talk, a helicopter tour of Dubai, and a friends & family night at Honeycomb HiFi. We also organized a series of Karl Kani installations at American Rag in Dubai mall for a community meet-and-greet in celebration of '50 years of hip-hop', which was also the theme of Sole DXB 2023. Photos and autographing took place alongside the giveaway of exclusive merch paying homage to Karl Kani and ‘50 years of hip-hop’ throughout the in-store event.
