The focal point remains military focussed with core classics refreshed in autumnal hues of Uniform Green and "Rubber", demonstrated by the arrival of the utilitarian D-Ring Mili Shirt and cotton ripstop Block Pant, elevated by the introduction of two in-house nocturnal camouflage designs, printed on to heavy Panama canvas with the bold Synergy branding. The Outerwear bar has been raised for Autumn/Winter 2021, defined by the oversized Nakkia Puffa Jacket, offering the perfect protection from the cold months ahead along with a modular capsule for winter layering including the quilted Camper Vest and double-layered Shelter Jacket offering a versatile combination for the new season. Workwear, military-inspired and traditional blanket and flannel checks form the strong backbone of the shirt offering including the all-new Sven Shirt with light padding that will soon become a winter wardrobe essential. Working closely with a dedicated knitwear designer for the first time, the Autumn/Winter 2021 Collection has been revised and upgraded, introducing a more in-depth programme, ranging from practical and soft wardrobe staples to luxurious stand out knitwear. With specialised knowledge of materials, textures and details, natural fibres such as alpaca and mohair have been introduced while graphic jacquard in line with the EDWIN aesthetic complements the classics with a modern outlook. Simplifying the chino selection with easy to understand fits including the Loose and the Regular has allowed for further experimentation this season with the addition of the colour blocked Labour Dart Pant, loose-fitting Utility Pant, corduroy leopard print Woodrow Pant and marble washed Eldon Pant that creates a subtle link with the denim collection.

Reworking western classics, the Ryden Shirt is based on a traditional silhouette with a modern outlook. Made from heavily stonewashed denim, the fit has been updated for the contemporary man and sits alongside the Halden Jacket, a revised version of our very own E-Classic, crafted from a recycled cotton mix with added stretch for extra comfort and finished with a covered placket, concealing the silver tack buttons. Continuing the theme, the same Santo Domingo fabric is used to create the black overdyed Universe Pant and Zakai Pant. The workwear influence extends to the denim collection for the new season, picking up momentum after the success of the Valter and Swaine Jacket, originally introduced in a heavyweight denim fabric. This time around, each silhouette has been reimagined in blackxwhite and bluexwhite denim with heavy contrast white stitching. The noticeable difference this season is the inclusion of stretch in the fabrics used for the Swaine Jacket and Operate Pant, bucking the traditional workwear trend. The versatile Swaine Jacket has also been reworked with full leopard print lining from the esteemed Japanese fabric mill, HOKOH and can also be found as pocket lining in the Belted Tyrell Pant, both made from the same washed-out black denim. The head-on collision between Japanese fashion and contemporary denim workwear culminates with the addition of gold stitching alongside specially developed katakana embossed hardware. One final mention has to go to the loose-fitting Utility Pant, a style usually seen in non-denim fabrics has been reinvented in a 12oz black denim and featuring oversized knee height pockets and an additional stash pocket with press stud closure.
